Hue is well-known as the Imperial City of Vietnam’s the last Feudalism Dynasty ruling before the Indochina War kicked off. Despite the battles and historical happenings, the Nguyen Dynasty’s remained heritages are extremely valuable these days that made it a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visiting Vietnam, travellers can see dynamic and modern cities; but also find Royal lifestyle and architecture here making the city different.


You get picked up at 8:00 at hotel; and driven to Royal Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City played role as capital of Vietnam from 1802 – 1945 for the Nguyen Dynasty. The Citadel outer wall is up to 10km and surrounded by wide moat. Despite most of the buildings are not intact due to bombards; the remained monuments still are inspiring and bring up extraordinary glimpse into the Royal court life. Next reach Thien Mu Pagoda sited on Perfume River offering peaceful atmosphere. We can observe daily prayer recital.


Afterward, we venture to rural area of Hue toward Imperial Tomb of Tu duc King with longest reigning duration. It’s optional to stop en route to visit local houses making incense sticks and conical hat. Continue with Imperial Tomb of Khai Dinh King dramatically located on a hillside. We then get back to your hotel and farewell at around 5:00pm.
