Upon your arrival at Phnom Penh - the first destination of your Cambodia honeymoon tour package, you will see your local tour guide and then travel to hotel in Phnom Penh for check-in. Rest of the day will be at leisure for your revive after the flight.
Phnom Penh is one of romantic things to do in Cambodia as it's the city where existing finest colonial heritance and sophisticated Cambodian arts. This is revealed through the art street, the ornates on relics, the architecture of colonial building, the artifacts in National Museum.
This morning will be free on your own leisure to chill-out at the property. In the afternoon, you will see your tour guide and have a glimpse of Phnom Penh. Pay a visit to the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda where introduce an insight on the past and present of Cambodia. Then you will visit Cambodia National Museum housing a huge collection of over 14,000 items of Khmer arts in sculptures, ceramics, bronzes, etc. Afterward, you can choose to either hike up to Wat Phnom on the hill for a panoramic view of the city and the rivers; or visit Toul Sleng historical place and learn more about the tough time of the country during the rebel of Khmer Rouge.
This morning, you will cross Mekong River to escape from city center for Koh Dach Island. This excrusion with cycling experience in Phnom Penh offers an in-depth understand of local life in on this island renown as Silk Island. Your tour guide will escort you traversing on untouristic paths and venturing the local villages, Buddhist pagoda, farming fields, etc. You will have lunch when arrive at Koh Dach Island; thereupon carry on your cycling adventure exploring this peaceful island, and visit a local family weaving silk. You will observe and learn how they make silks in local ways, get to know the traditional scarf of Cambodia or the Krama. Farewell to the island, you then return to hotel for relaxation.
At good time, you will meet with your tour guide and travel to Phnom Penh Airport for your flight to Siem Reap the gate way to inspiring Angkor Temples; a culture of fishing lifestyle on giant fresh Tonle Sap lake and adventures to Phnom Kulens and lively nightlife of Siem Reap Pub Street.
Upon arriving, you will see your local tour guide and have private transfer from airport to hotel in Siem Reap for check-in.
This evening, have dinner at a fancy Chandara Villa, a stunning honeymoon place in Cambodia set in the greenish gardens over rice paddy field. After a short walk along romantic path, you will find your private venue to enjoy the dinner cocktail and extraordinary fine candlelight dining experiences.
In the morning, you will cross the jungle path to enter Angkor Archeological Park where sitting the spirited Angkor Temples. Your exploration will begin at the southern gate of Angkor Thom constructed with impressive guarding walls. One side, there are 54 demon deities altogether pulling the tails of snake; while the other side is set with 54 characters in the Hinduism legend on Churning of the Ocean. Walk through the gate, you will enter Angkor Thom or the “Big City” and find the first temple – Bayon. This unique temple have your curiosity by towers of giant Buddha faces adorned from 4 facets. This represents the protection for citadel from 4 directions. Keep strolling, you will discover 11th century Ba Phuon Temple which vastly ruined and being restored currently. You also find the Phimeanakas Temple, Terraces of Elephants, Terraces of Leper King.
This afternoon, visit Angkor Wat the iconic and religious temple of Siem Reap and Cambodia. This is the largest temple among over one thousand temples in the park. There are 5 towers in the center of temple premise of which the most central and highest one reach 65m high. Apart from the spacious scales, this 12th century temple also reveals gorgeous sculptures and a gallery of diverse images on cultures, history and religion. Finish the day at Ta Prohm Temple where the huge trees’ roots embrace the rooms, walls and chapels of the temple.
This day will be free and easy at your own leisure to chill-out at the property or getting around the town on your own.
A half day in Bong Thom Village offers you chances to interact with local villagers and learn of their culture by joining with them making the food and handicrafts. Getting from one to another, you will crush rice by local mortar and make local rice noodle, the prepare a noodle bowl, behold the processes and try the bamboo sticky rice. Then, you will learn more about the popular plant of sugar palm in Cambodia. Pay a visit to sugar palm stalls and see how local make sugar with huge pan; and create decorative handicrafts from the sugar palm leaf. Afterward, you will head back to the center and travel to Siem Reap Airport for your flight to Sihanouk Ville.
Upon arriving, you will be welcomed by the driver and travel (without tour guide) to the port for boat transfer to your hotel on Koh Rong Island which is the next romantic place to go in Cambodia. Koh Rong Island is a pristine white sandy beach in the Gulf of Thailand with crystal clear blue ocean. Check-in the resort and have leisure time on your own.
